Above starter on block is a 3 wire plug which i pulled 3 wires out,what order do the wires get replaced?colors are blue,green,and yellow

follow this and figure out what truck you have. then put in the part you want and go to repair info on the left. It should give you the diagram you need.

The yellow goes on the terminal B.Blue to terminal A AND green to terminal C.You should be able to see the letters on the connector.Good luck.

If by "plug" you are referring to a plastic cap, that would be the end off you starter solenoid. The best thing to do would be to replace the solenoid and reattach the wires to the new one. Be sure to remove the positive battery cable before attempting this. If you are unsure how to replace the solenoid it may be easier to replace the entire starter with a rebuilt one that can be found at any auto parts store. Please rate this answer,thanks.
