2004 camry has water on the passenger floor everytime it rains.

I do not think it is coming from the door. It seems to drain down the windshield and down the inside trim in front of the door.. There is enough water, that the floor mat and the carpet are wet enough to soak a towel.

I would check water in radiator as sounds like the heater box under the dash is leaking and will certainly end up on floor

1997 Nissan Sentra when it rains water leaks in on the passenger floor somehow behind the dash Maybe

Don A has an excellent answer, but if you have a sunroof, that is more likely the reason. The pipe runs down between the door pillar and the windshield and there is often a join there which can part. Be careful with compressed air as it can blow joints apart.

Equinox driver and passenger side floor boards flood everytime it rains. i don't have a sunroof. it used to only drip when it rained but recently my floor board have been filling up with puddles

Drip from where? If water is getting to your floorboard, and if you've ruled out a stopped up air conditioner drain, then it has to be coming in from either the firewall or the underside of the vehicle - especially if you're sure it only happens when it rains.

Lots of rain water leaking into front passenger foot rest.

Are you certain it is rain water? It could be condensation from the A/C coil that fails to drain out of the drain pan, or possibly coolant from a leaking heater core. If you are certain it is rain water, depending upon the age of the vehicle, and possibly some other things, here are the possible options:

  1. Leaking door gasket.
  2. Leaking windshield seal due to rust
  3. Leaking windshield seal due to improper installation
  4. Leaking windshield seal due to acoustic (sound) over pressure (if you have extreme sound system with heavy bass)
  5. If you have a sunroof, if the drain hose comes down the passenger side door column, it could be leaking into the passenger compartment rather than drain through the floor pan.

I have a Mazda B2500 (2000). Everytime it rains the drivers side floorboard gets soaked. There is no dripping or water running down the door. What could this be?

You could have a windshield that is leaking water. Often this water will trickle down from the bottom/inside of the glass and then down the firewall, under the carpet or floor mat, and to the floor. The way I usually hunt for these is to remove the floor mat or carpet then get a flashlight and lay down in the cab so you can see under the dash area while someone sprays water on the vehicle with a garden hose. Often the leak will show up as a trickle that you can then backtrack to it's source. Another spot to look for is at the cowl in front of the windshield where air for the heater and a/c is pulled into the passenger compartment. The water drain holes in this area can plug up and allow water to overflow into the passenger compartment. Good luck, hope this helps!

Leak on front passenger floor only when strong rain .

This is just a shot in the dark-- but ya never know, right? If you have a sunroof check the drains. They are lines that typically run from the inner corners of the sunroof housing down to empty out at the low point on the vehicle body. You may find the opening on the inside door jamb near the hinges, or on the pillar between front & rear doors. Look for a little nipple type rubber fitting.
Another thought...have you checked your heater core and hoses?
Good luck!

Water leak on fwd and back passenger side after every rain storm

pull your carpet up near the leak area and look for muddy body seams. it is possible one of the factory body seams are leaking- possibly in the cowl(under wipers) area, especially if it leaks when the car is sitting. there will be dirt/mud around the seams that are leaking. also you can check door seals by running the car on HIGH DEFROST with all doors and windows closed. spray around with a 50/50 soapy water solution. obviously bubbles will form around your leak.

Water leak on fwd passenger side after every rain storm

If your car has a sunroof, there are drains from the front corners of the sunroof, and they drain down the sides of the windshield pillars, and then empty out on the ground.

What I would do is open the surnroof, and pour water into the front corners, and then oobserve where the water drains out. If you have a difference in water drainage between the left and the right sides, I would think that you may have loose sunroof drain. They commonly come loose at the sunroof corners. This will allow the water to pass down the windshield pillar, and onto the floor.

Also, I would check the condensate drain tube for blockage. Pull back the carpet, under the glove box, and fins a black hose that pokes thru the firewall. Pull it out, and see if it is blocked internally. If this tube is clogged, water will build up in the heater box, as the black tube is the drain for the heater box.

One of the two above solutions will cure your problem. I see both quite often.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance.

Everytime it rains really hard rain gets in the car. There is a 2 or 3 inches in the passenger side floor board.

I have the same problem with my 91' 318. Water is coming in from the outside air intake at the base of the front windshield, under the black vent covers. If the basin fills up, water enters the vent system throught the outside air intake. Solution: there is a drain line at the fire wall, easily accessible between the firewall and engine block. It drains water from the basin. It becomes clogged with dirt, and prevents water from draining. However, after further inspection of mine I noticed that during periods of HEAVY rain, even a clean drain line is inadequate to drain that volume of water and the same happens. See attached link. Good Luck
