The EATX shutdown relay fuse underneath my hood keeps throwing. The fuse itself is checking out fine, but still my car will not start. I have been working on it for almost 5 months and still nothing. I took it to the shop and all they say is the fuse is what is stopping my car from running. Do you have any suggestion?
SOURCE: what is an EATX shutdown relay
eatx stands for electronic automatic transmission controller
the eatx relay provides power for the controller and the backup eatx relay is for the backup lights

There is an (auto shut down relay) located on the van in the fuse/relay panel under the hood. It controls the fire to the coil, fuel injectors alternator. (never ever heard of a (eatx relay)??? Or a (eatx backup relay)??? Hope this will help you.
