You need a 15mm wrench and skinny hands or a long belt router. place wrench on tensioner bolt and pull to rotate clockwise,at same time undo belt always holding tensioner, after removing belt from a couple pulleys release tensioner and finish removing belt from engine,for installacion reverse procedure.

Tensioner badly adjusted or pulleys are misaligned.

Take it back to the shop and ask them to fix the tension under the repair warranty.

There should be enough tension that the belt can't jump the pulleys. There is a small chance is is misrouted.

I would not advise it, your serpentine belt runs all of your accessories, if your pump locks up it will burn your belt up and then you are stranded.
