I have a 2003 Nissan Murano and it's been stalling and jerking with strong gas smells coming inside car.

Question edited for clarity, punctuation and spelling.

There are lots of ideas here, but due to the fact you can smell gas, clean the Throttle Body with spray cleaner. It isn't shutting properly. Clean the MAF (Mass Air Fuel) sensor as well.

Why would my 1995 toyota corolla be smelling like gas very strongly?

I would be considering if the fuel cap is pressurised, if it is then the charkhole canister breather my be blocked . but if it doent start straight away then u must be loosing pressure in the fuel system, does it make a difference how much fuel is in the tank ?it can be the fuel over flow pipe if you fill the tank right up and park it the fuel can swell, it exspands. I hope this is of some help. if not I would like to know were you park it ,how much fuel is in it , is the swell strong inside the car or under the bonnet , in the garage

Why does my toyota corolla smells like gas very strongly?

I had a 91 that smelled of gas because the vent line to the file hole rusted out. It got to where it would leak out on the ground if I opened the nozzle all the way up when filling.

I have a 2003 Isuzu Rodeo Sport which has a strong gas smell when started in the morning. could it be the fuel filter?

Check the fuel rail that supplies fuel to the injectors. It may be leaking.

I am driving a 2006 KB 250 fleetside, just over 101250km. This is my first diesel vechile and i`m abid worried about my fuel consumption. Done a trip to luderitz recently and used about 38 lts for 390 km...

The injectors have o-rings that will wear and cause fuel leak into engine and cause same smoke problem ,but glow plugs are only for engine firing.........you can change o-rings only but if it has lot of miles i would do injectors...
however make sure the fuel rail isnt leaking at injector connection.also check exhaust for excessive heat or noise inside cat.converter if you can shake it.....some come apart inside.....
it would be worth having the engine scanned to make sure 02 sensors are good..they control air/fuel mix and if oxygen level is incorrect it will burn more fuel and sometimes fuel scent but not very bad.

When the heater is on there is a very strong natural gas kind of smell inside our 2005 Yukon Denali. It seems to come from the vents... and seems to be worse when slowing down or idling. Had the vehicle...

Check under the hood and make sure there are no fuel lines leaking. You should be able to smell it.If you don`t know what to look for the take it to a garage or your dealer and have them look it over.It is not safe to drive if you smell fuel while driving. It could cause a fire under the hood.Good luck.
