1965 falcon sedan resistor

I need a diagram for a 1965 Ford Falcon Ballast resistor. I am having trouble locating it so I can replace it.

Ignition ballast resistor is usually mounted on the firewall near the back of the engine. It's white, rectangular, and has a wire connector on each end. It's function is to limit primary coil current during engine running. The ballast is bypassed during starting so you get a higher spark voltage. If you remove the ballast, you will burn out your coil.

EF & EL are 1,5,3,6,2,4
EF has a coil pack under the inlet manifold the EL has a distributor
EF uses a waste spark system so 2 plugs are fired at the same time eg 1 & 6 - 2 & 5 - 3 & 4

It isn't a particularly hard job but there are a few techniques that you need to know.
I wouldn't recommend you do it yourself but I would recommend you do it under supervision of someone who knows their stuff.
Retensioning the bearings correctly is extremely important.

The flasher relay can get stuck. It is usually a 3 pronged, small, cylinder or cube plugged into the fusebox.

Ford Falcon XE. Removal of the entire wiper assembly to access rust spots, xe falcon, Australia.

The rubber is probably fused to it because of age. Spray it with silicone spray to lubricate it.

    Pretty easy.....behind the bulb in the engine bay, you will see the lead that goes into the headlight assembly. There is a spring lock that holds the globe in. Just pull it out and replace.

    There are NO emissions diagrams for XB V8 Falcons.
    The ONLY emissions hose they have is a PCV in rocker cover connected to the air cleaner housing.
