Dash board light and speedometer out after jumping..

My battery went dead after leaving my lights on and when i jumped my car it started right up, but now nothing on my dash board works the speedometer, and the rest of the gauges are out. the light on my radio goes out when i cut my head lights on. I checked all the fuse, all are good, but i do here sort of a rattling, type crumbling sound in the front of my car, not sure if that has anything to do with it. i am hopeing if i go ahead and change my altenator that mite help the situation but i dont know. No one seems to know how to fix this ...

You still need to go ahead and check the fuses inside and outside again because that would seem to be the problem.

Battery went dead so I jumped it with a power pack 350 amp. It starts but runs rough and eventually dies and all lights flash and speedometer needle jumps back and forth.

Sound like your alternator is shot. Do the test ..After you charge the batery or get it boosted if you remove the positive battery post OFF the battery and the engine dies right away your alternator if shot .

Speedometer dash lights not working

Ouch, must be it doesn't like to get jumped. Wild guess, a "marginal" fuse couldn't take the jump. Check your fuse box for dash lighting. Other Dash lights ok? Any error codes? Possible the ECU (brain) didn't like the jump and now needs to be reset. Sometimes that can be done by disconnecting the battery overnight. Why did the car need a jump? I'd guess you have a "marginal" battery. Some Auto parts stores can help check your battery. And if bad replace.

All electrical started flashing then car died

The cars computer brain may be damaged now. Other than that, special code settings may be required to rest the computer brain. Never JUMP the battery using + and - posts, use the Plus + side and put the Minus - clamp on the struts, motor support mounts etc. But not on + and - posts.

Battery is new, engine won't turn over.

The voltmeter should only go as high as 14-15 volts when the engine is running. I would check for a poor connection between the battery and starter.

I have a 99 camry the went dead and i tried to jump it the horn blows good the head lights comes on but when i turn the key it says nothing the dash lights doesnt come on its like its not getting any power

There could be several reasons for your problem:
  1. Check your connections for tightness and corrosion. A corroded battery cable/post will diminish the current going to the dead battery.
  2. Check jumper connections
  3. Dead battery; the worse off the battery is, the more time it will take to charge the battery sufficiently enough to start the car; a completely dead battery with bad cells will never recharge sufficiently enough to hold a charge and start the car on a regular basis
Hope this answers your question. Best of luck.

2003 VW Golf won't start - battery was charged

You need to charge your battery up more. Either get a battery charger or leave the jumper cables hooked up for a longer period of time.
Your battery was probably completely dead. You might even need a new battery...they really don't like to be completely drained.
