This page has instructions on reprogramming your keyfob.

http://www.nissanhelp.com/diy/common/nissan_reprogram_key_fob2.htm

However, I ran into the same problem and it turned out that the "new" battery I had purchased was dead! I bought another new battery and put it in and everything was fine. Hopefully your battery is actually new...

Just replaced one of my keyfobs and it is very easy. Found one on line at Keyless-Remotes. Inexpensive and easy. Arrived at my home within two days of order.

2005 Nissan Murano right indicator and wiper running continuously

You can try to disconnect the Battery for several minutes and then reconnect to reset the BCM. If this doesn't work, you'll need to have the BCM tested or replaced that controls those functions. The Murano has an especially sensitive electronic system and many parts operate through Body Control Modules. (BCM)s

Using the proper equipment, these items can be re-set, if the BCM is not bad and everything else is working properly.

If you've done other repairs recently, double check all of the ground wire connections as this can also lead to things operating when they shouldn't.

Beeping sound in 2005 nissan murano

Mine did the same thing. I had the battery replaced on the controller.and it still beeped. Then I took my key and put it in the ignition, without turning the key and took it out. Did this like 6 times and the long beep finally stopped.

I have no power to my 2009 nissan murano.door locks don't work can't start it and even my steering wheel is locked.Whats wrong?

(Assuming the lights/battery are good), First, try a different remote/key. Your remote may be bad.
If the problem is your remote, get a new one ASAP, since you have to have a working one that the computer recognizes in order to train it to recognize a new one. Otherwise you have to replace the entire computer module ($$$).

If the other remote does not help, try disconnecting the ground cable on the battery for a minute or two, then reconnect it. If that fixes it, talk to your dealer. My 2005 Chrysler T&C had a similar problem, the door locks are always powered, but the computer monitors how much current they draw. If it is too high, the computer disables them to save the battery. In my case, the current limit was too low, the computer had to be reprogrammed by the dealer.
