If the fob is not for mercury it wont work make sure when buying that it is compatible with your car make and model, look online for instruction how to program your fob keyless remote.

Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 5 times within 10 seconds, with the 5th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode.
Within 20 seconds, press any button on first keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.
Within 20 seconds press any button on second keyless remote. Door locks will cylcle to confirm programming.
Turn ignition to OFF

1) Turn key from OFF to ON eight times within 10 seconds ending in the ON position.

2) After doors lock then unlock, press any button on the
remote being programmed.

3) The doors should lock/unlock to confirm programming.

4) Turn key to OFF and door locks should cycle one last time.

It does indeed have keyless entry. It needs reprogramming when you get a new remote. Also if you disconnect the battery. Usually a local car alarm fitting shop, or an auto-electrician will do it. Plus of course a Ford dealership.

Hello I have a Mazda Tribute 2002 model that the remote will not work on. i bought a new remote with the same number on it 1L87T-15K601-AA and I cant program it I have done the turn key 8 times to get door...

These are the correct instructions.

1. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door
locks will cycle to confirm programming mode.
2. Within 20 seconds press any button on first keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm
programming.
3. Within 20 seconds, press any button on second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to
confirm programming.
4. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.

Venza remote keyless entry problems

I have the 2010 Toyota Venza push to start. I lost the original key, so i bought a new key with the remote and its was programmed successful but this remote only had the three buttons on it, instead of four buttons ( Including the Hutch button). So i bought another new remote with the four buttons today and I want to know if it will work when i switch the programmed key into the new remote?

There is no way manually program a keyless remote to this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle diagnostic port to program the remote into the keyless entry module. Sorry many new cars are this way.

yes if you have a good one that is functioning correctly you can refeer to the owners manual under remote keyless entry or alarm section and it will give you a step by step procedure every chrysler jeep dodge has a differant procedure if you cant find it send me a clarification notice and i will look into for you

The dealer should be able to program it for you. When I bought mine, the dealer could not find the keyless remote, they took another remote for a different van and they just programmed it right there and then.
