The list is long. Have you run a fault code test on the engine control computer? Do that and see if any codes show up. You will need a OBD2 control system code reader. You can buy them locally or on eBay. Cost varies but $35 USD is an average cost.

The "Service Engine Soon" comes on when the ECM receives information from the engines sensors that exceeds normal acceptable operating parameters. The ECM will store a code (or codes) indicating which system(s) are out of tolerance and light the "Service Engine Soon" lamp. The technician will read the codes, diagnose and repair the condition(s), and reset the "Service Engine Soon" lamp. The lamp does NOT go out on its own (in most cases), once repairs are made. There is a scan tool that is used to clear the stored codes that allows the lamp to go out. It is therefore possible that you may already have fixed the condition that set your light to on. Or not. The whole purpose of the lamp was to help avoid the kind of "hit and miss" repair methodology that you have employed so far. Many feel the need to try this as they fear the costs of a professional mechanic reading the codes and the cost of repairs. Fortunately, there are less costly options available. Many of the large auto parts chains will read the "Service Engine Soon" codes for you at no cost. They will tell you what codes are present and you can decide if you (or someone you know) can perform repairs or if you need a pro to check things out. They do NOT, normally, perform resets of the lamp as this has potential liability issues for them. If you need the lamp reset after repairs are made, you have two options; pay the pro, or buy a scan tool that has the ability to reset the light. Not all do. The cheaper units are only code READERS. Be careful when you buy. But if you watch for sales, you can usually get a low-cost scan tools that can read and reset codes for around $40.00. Good luck.

Did anyone check what code or codes are showing up? Get someone to read the code/codes and we will go from there. Your local parts store should do it for no cost. Advance auto parts in PA does it for no cost. Call and ask your parts store. After you get it checked get back to me.

two of the codes are EVAP codes. The cost of the repair could be $20 or it could be up to $1200 dollars or more. It just depends on what they find. It could be as simple as a cracked hose or it could be something a little more sever like a NVLD pump or a charcoal canister.

The P0551 is a power steering switch code, i think.

A P0303 code is a cylinder #3 misfire code. Usally a tune up, of plugs and wires fixes the problem. Normal cost is about $5 dollars a spark plug, about $85 in spark plug wires and around $100 in labor. So around $200-250 for the tune up. Then you'll need them to clear the check engine light, which may cost a diagnostic fee. If you haven't done a tune up in a while that would be the place to start. The other problem it could be is a fuel injector or a cylinder compression problem but those are unlikely. Hope this helps.
