There is a switch that turns the lights on when in reverse, You'll have to locate the switch and see if that failed, or check the wiring for broken connections

coming out of it. This is your reverse switch that turns on your

Welcome to FY Check the reverse light switch located on the transmission. It is located by the shift lever housing on the transmission.
also there is a 10 amp fuse in your power distribution center for this too.

it is usually the neutral safety switch which controls the reverse kight however some vehicles had a seperate back up light switch which could be causing the light to stay on.
