Radio will not come on but fuses look good
Factory or aftermarket radio? I really cant help much on factory, if its aftermarket check your power and ground wires have good connection and in proper places, also check fuse on the back of your stereo

check the connection to constant (usually yellow wire). Also check the remote wire (usually red) make sure they are both hooked up to where they need to be

No solution but same problem. However mine intermittent. It will come on and run the passenger side speakers and then shut off. All panel displays are on. Next day same thing. I think it has something to do with weather. When it is below 30 deg it doesn't work. When it gets 45 deg and up it works somewhat. It sounds like a bad circuit board connection.

Check the wiring for the new radio, it sounds like the dimmer light wire needs to be connected. If that is not the issue, then the dimmer may need to be replaced, I would recommend that you unplug and replug it, they lose connectivity and sometimes that is all they need.
