You'll need three tools to remove the VW Amarok door panels - a Philips-head screwdriver, a T20 Torx, a flat blade, or a pocket screwdriver.
Follow these steps:
1. Four fastners hold the door - two Philips-head screws behind the handle, and two T20 Torx at the bottom, locate them
2. Remove the bottom screws
3. Remove the handle cover by using the flat blade screwdriver
4. Remove the screws inside the handle
5. Release the clips holding back the panel, by running your finger along the sides
6. Raise the door and then pull it out
7. Don't pull the panel of all the way, first remove all wires connected to it.
Windscreen wipers on Amarok VW are not working but the windscreen wash jets are. I've been told that it's probably a fuse but there is no indication in the manual which one it is. Can you please advise?
Remove the air cleaner assembly after that push the tab on the headlight this releases the headlight assembly and now just pull the whole headlight assembly out from the outside. Once you have the assembly out now find the tabs on the headlight itself push on these tabs and the bulb will come out of it.
Lift the hood and if equipped remove plastic engine cover. On each headlight you will see plastic retaining latches. releasing these latches will allow the whole headlight assembly to slide out. Its a canister type assembly. You can then access teh bulbs to replace the lights. it reassembles teh same way
