Your throttle position sensor might be stuck on the wide open throttle setting!
Do you have any check engine codes? Is the check engine light on?
It might not be if the TPS is still in the normal range...but is just sticking open.

AMSOIL or Mobil 1 synthetic oils. Either one. AMSOIL claims to be the best but...in order to meet the standards "all" manufacturers of synthetic oils have to have the minimum oil content mixture to achieve the quality standards.
SJ or SL or ILSAC 5W-30 is the manufacturers recommended engine oil.
SOURCE: fuel pump does not work
Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. You need to check your fuel pump fuse, relay, and your reset button, if equipped. If they all check out, you need to replace the wiring harness or wires that are not getting power.
