Hi i have a vauxhall frontera 2.4 petrol after driving 10 miles plus engine management light flashes and the car seems to misfire

That sounds like an injector fault, try having diagnostic tool pluged in while driving, or get garage to do it.

Code 301, random or cylinder 1 misfire

Spake pluge could have gone bad, or the Spark Plug wire. Try changing all your plugs and wire and inspect the old one's. The wire could be bad do to time or may have been against the exhaust manifold and brunt. Good luck
