I changed the traction battery but it doesn't work. I have a scanner but it doesn't give me any trouble codes. The on board screen sees the traction battery as 80% charged but all I get when I press the power button is the red triangle with the exclamation mark in the middle of it light up. And on the multifunction screen there is a red box in the upper left corner that looks like the front half of two cars opposing each other. The engine doesn't start at all. Does anybody know where I need to start with diagnostics?
The image of the 2 cars opposing each other looks like it wants you to 'jump start' the 12 volt system of the car. SO test the 12 volt battery and try. Videos on youtube show how to read the 12 volt battery in the MFD and how to jump start the 12 volt battery.
Testimonial: "Dennis Foster I have already replaced the 12 volt battery along with the traction battery so this is not an issue. Thank you for trying to help though!"
SOURCE: red triangle on but main battery are full of charge any solutions
Check Oil might be low if this is the case then engine is burning oil and valve job is needed.
