I need to find the manual release for the trunk on a 1996 jaguar xj6. I looked in the glove box and its not in there. Any suggestions?

The other places i've seen before are on the floor in front of the seat near the door, under the dash on either driver or passenger side, on the door panel, and in some rare cases inside the fuel door near the gas cap. Also in some rare cases, it hidden somewhere in the center console either near the ash tray, or in the little compartment in the arm rest.
