Thermostat if water is Running. Cheapest Fix to start with!
SOURCE: Water not staying in Radiator
yes, not having an overflow reservoir for your radiator will cause you to lose water. As your engine warms up the water expands and creates pressure in the cooling system. When the pressure reaches a certain point(usually about 15 psi.) the radiator releives the pressure by releasing water into the overflow tank. When the engine cools back down the water shrinks pulling water back into the radiator from the overflow. If there is no overflow, the everytime the engine warms up on a drive water will be lost and not recovered on cooldown.

The radiator cap is pressure sensitive, it is designed to let off pressure caused by high operating temps. If your vehicle is letting off water and is not overheating, you likely have a bad gasket on the cap. You can get a new pressure cap at any parts store. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!
SOURCE: Motor is overheating and coolant is bubbling from
Sounds like your thermostat is stuck in the closed position, not allowing the coolant to cool the engine and then go back into the bottom hose into the radiator again. You should of pulled a code on this. TB's thermostats are notorious for going bad.

i would suggest a new thermastat and maybe even a new radiator cap but dont forget to check your hoses they maybe collapsed
