SOURCE: Whinning Noise when cold.

Timing belts don't while because they don't slip! Could be the water pump/alternator belt.

3 times breaking fanbelt suzuki swift 2007. Changing waterpomp without result.

Check the pulleys.. a rock or stone may have put a dent or nick it it and the belt is chafing and tracking to the side causing friction and breaking.

Timing chain or belt in a 2004 suzuki swift 1.3L

Diesel or GASoline, they offered 2 engines 1.3L
google answers that.
one way to find this (besides a goggle search (worked for me 100x)
besides a real FSM or alldata.com look in 1min. flat. is.....
is to learn which of the 56 Suz engines you have.
the WIKI says, its a M13A
armed with that key fact, you can find out anything on that engine.
one way is to read the GATES belt page, see if they sell a belt.
looks like chain

even more easy , is online suzuki oem parts dot com.
no country stated, but its not USA>
so i guess at UK
