How hard is it and be and the cost to rebuild the transmission for the 2003 lincoln aviator myself

Here is a pic of what it looks like
Remove the cover in the center of valve covers.
Remove coil packs
Remove spark plugs

Open hood and remove the radiator site shield and the air delector on top of the headlamp assembly. You will then see 2 clips that you will pull up and then remove the headlamp assembly.
