TAIL LIGHT PROBLEM 1998 SILVERADO

check the wiring from the tailights back to the fuse panel, it sounds like an open connection. if i recall correctly check under the dash on the drivers side near the fuse panel for a bunch of wires in a bundle and look carefully for a wire or two that are cut/shorted/or seperated, you can also check under the drivers side kick panel by the hood release.

did u check emergancy brake? try to engage then release then grab and pull to top be sure its releasing totaly

You have to use a voltmeter and start tracing the wiring starting at the taillights. Check for 12 volts working your way up the wiringf to the front of the vehicle

I had to replace the turn signal switch in my 1998 z34.Now everything works fine.
