It buzzes for about 15 min. after i start it, drive it down the road, then put in park or neutral, and when i pull it out of park or neutral the buzzing stops, my codes r telling me my speed sensors are no good and also my c02 sensors on my exhaust, also my overdrive is clunking back n forth at about 80kms/hr, from OD to drive and only stops if i turn overdrive off.
Looks like problems are stacking up here.???
to get help with a buzz, we need to find it.
if its a black box. how may wires go to it and what are the colors of said wires. or look them up, in the schematics.
the speed sensor is bad. or the wires fell off the connector or the connector is corroded.
the 02 are bad, and same suffix, fell off, corroded or melted to exh pipe.
OD lamp is a OD lamp and a warning lamp the operators guide tells you that , it will say, scan the PCM for tranny errors, but you already did that? right and the speed sensor is dead, and no tranny shifts right with a speed (VSS) sensor dead. in fact it goes to limphome mode,

Could be a heat shield that is making noise as well. You'll want to make sure nothing is loose underneath before trying to find a phantom noise that may just be radiating from another source.
why guess, use a $5 stethoscope find it and stop guessing. it might be a cracked, 10cent CAT shield. why guess. why guess the most expensive cause (a/t repairs) is it comflict of interest?
my answer was to the A/T post, that came in to my email. SHift shoenoids. by frank, or is this the silly fixya guessing engine. bull.
and Apr 6th is an old post. id bet he sold it already, heck I do when the ash trays are full...

The buzzing sound is most probably coming from one of the shift solenoids. For the rest, if you know that a speed sensor is bad, then you need to change that one first.

I think there is a TSB on that problem. If the wind is coming from the passanger side then roll the window all the way down. Put a 2X4 in the door jam. So the 2X4 will be inbetween the the door and the jeep. Push on the top of the door like you are trying to close the door. What you are trying to do and slightly bend the top of the door toward the jeep. But just do it a little at a time.

ljbbw, I have somewhat the same problem. I have a 95 ZJ and mine starts out in 2nd gear, OD light always on for the OFF selection, and whatnot. I found out from a local garage (waiting for a 2nd opinion) that 1st gear no longer exists on my transmission, I have to start in 2nd from a full stop or low speed roll, and then shift into 3rd/Drive, but no OverDrive, so at like 60 mph I hit 2700 rpm and it wont up or downshift. Its potential it COULD be the torque converter off as they thought it could have been my issue, but who knows, get it looked at before something really goes wrong?

power steering pump might need more oil (whining noise). generally power steer pumps take automatic transmission fluid. there should be a reservoir above the pump only fill this a little bit then start the car and turn left to right and recheck level. fluid should only be low if there is a leak at power steer pump/lines or steering rack,
