No start unless u jump starter wire trans stays in high gear 5th according to live data on scanner.had codes for trans range sensor. replaced it cleared codes and same thing. checked all fuses and relays and power from ign switch. starter circuit powers when in start position from switch to fuse block but no power out of block on y/white stripe coming out that is starter wire. i can jump from wire going into block and starter wire where it comes outof block and it will start with key but trans still in high gear even when clear codes. they come back instantly.i have an otc scanner and still cannot make it downshift with it when i hit gear up or down.reverse works perfect and trans pan was clean.i checked main plug going into trans and internal harness . any ideas ?

look for a 5 amp fuse, crank fuse in car, not under hood

Yes they do but I would rather think you have a bad battery cabe connection to the system, sometimes the battery cable corrudes and you can't see it try replacing the cable ends and the connector ends espically if they are by the battery.

The Transmission Control Module also turns on the check engine light. However the parts store won't be able to read these codes since all they read are the Engine DTC's. More then likely your codes will come back to a Governor Pressure Sensor and/or Switch. If they do then remove the pan and replace both of those. Simple fix, should be able to be done in about an hour or so. Might as well go ahead and slap a speed sensor in while you're under there. Should be able to do it yourself for less then $200.
