I was recently installing a mini light bulb in my cruise control switch t3 led. When I noticed that my climate control lights, back lights , day time running lights do not turn on. I just replaced the commination switch and tail light relay and I still cant figure it out. In addition all fuses are working, please help.
Here you haven't mention your cruise model name, Go to the given link which is online store known as reliable, they have repair manuals, I am sure you will get the solution
cruise
SOURCE: no tail lights or running lights
Next step, replace the Power Distribution Module. It probably has a short in it also. Why in the hell anyone would think it was a good idea to put the fuse box with two circuit boards in it(not properly sealed) is beyond me. I wonder if they would take their lap top into the shower to see if it would still work. Please make a complaint about this poorly designed product at this site. www.nhtsa.gov Chrysler should take responsibility for this problem. I think they keep their company afloat with all the modules they sell.
SOURCE: tail lights and brake lights not working with headlights on
We had the same problem with ours, that is a Saturn recall items. Check with your Saturn dealer to see if it is still in effect. It use to make our headlight switch get hot. I think it was a poor ground in the taillight housing, I use to wiggle the bulb plug-ins and that helped for a while, but after the recall was fixed it never did it again.
SOURCE: Same problem... No brake lights/cruise control of any kind.
Sounds like you brake lite switch is out of adjustment or a bad switch . most have a adjustment at the switch near the Brake pedal. Good Luck
