How do the power steering hoses go on on a 2001 Pontiac Aztek and why is there no circular motion inside the pump

The only squared thing on the pump is the "plastic"
fluid tank... Everything else about the design & function
is "circular".

There is ABSOLUTELY circular "MOTION" inside the PUMP...
PLEASE NOTE... there is a giant pulley on the front..
and the design of the pump is all about rotational force of the hydraulic pump (right THROUGH the middle).

High pressure to the high pressure...
(with a possible cooler option in the middle)
Low pressure back to the reservoir

How do I replace the fuel pump on an 01 Pontiac Aztec?

Not easy. Fuel pump is inside gas tank. Some cars have a panel in the floor above the gas tank to allow access, but I think yours does not. If not, you must drop the tank.

2001 aztec, new thermostat...over heats in winter, and when speed reduced blows cold air. Plenty of antifreeze. Any ideas what could be wrong?

YOU HAVE TO BLEED THE LINES THE ARE TWO NIPPLES ONE BY THE THERMOSTAT AND ONE BY THE WATER PUMP. YOU HAVE AIR IN THE LINES THE AIR BUBBLES BUILD UP IN FRONT OF THE THERMOSTAT AND PREVENT IT FROM ORENING ANY TIME YOU OPEN THE RADIATOR CAP OR ANYTHIN YOU MUST BLRRD THEM LINES YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO IT A COUPLE TIMES BUT A RELATIVELY EASY FIX

My 2002 Aztec lost all it's anti-freeze I noticed that the back left was wet, and found no blown hoses in the front. does this indicate a blown water pump and if so how do I replace it

It could be a split in the radiator or the pump leaking or a blown head gasket would also pump water out of the radiator. Refill it with water and run the engine with the radiator cap off. If there is a dribble coming from the pump it needs to be replaced. If a large amount of bubbles come from the radiator, and blow water all over the place, suspect a blown head gasket.
