The rear wiper on my 2004 GMC Yukon quit working and about two weeks later the rear defrost quit working too. I have checked the fuses and they are ok. Any suggestions?

The rear wiper worked intermittently and then quit and two weeks later the rear defroster quit. Have checked fuses.

Same as with all vehicle issues

Check the fuses

Then get out the Wiring Diagrams & get familiar with the
system & pick a test point, or start taking things apart, to get
to the motor or your test points, the most logical part to
have possibly failed

No one can do that for you or tell you what the problems are

Always need a vehicle to test

Rear wipers won't work on 2004 yukon

You need to remove the trim panel inside the back door, Unplug the motor, Be sure you have power on the Orange wire with key on, then test the Grey wire with wiper on, key on and if power? then likely bad motor If NO power on one or both wires at the plug? then fuse for rear wiper or bad switch the orange wire is from the RR WPR fuse in the under hood fuse box.
I doubt the other fuse is bad as if it was, the rear washer would not work So,, be sure power on orange wire, then check power on grey wire with wiper on and key on. No power on grey? bad switch. No power on both orange and grey? likely motor. This is the only way to test the system

My 2004 yukon back wiper doesn't work anymore. Its not a fuse. Suggestions??

Check the wire/contact that transfers the power from the body to the rear door which houses the wiper mechanism. That would be the first course of action. A failed wiper motor is less likely but not impossible.

Rear Wiper Quit Working

It is the Motor. This is a VERY Common GM Problem that they have not Fixed since 1990. You will need to remove the Rear Door Panel to Access the Motor.

Passenger side heated mirror not working on 2004 gmc yukon

i kind of dought there would be 1 fuse for one mirror if anything there be 1fuse for both mirrors. chances are what happend is this, they work like your rear window defroster on the rear window you see little wires that run across the window, same with mirror, the wire that heats them little wires most likely broke.
