It probably Throttle position sensor and/or the Idle Air Control Valve. If you need more help diagnosing these, please let me know what tools you have and we can go from there. (i.e. do you have a multi-meter? etc...)
Try cleaning your throttle body. Over time on high mileage vehicles, the throttle body butterfly valve will gunk up with sludge, and dirt. This will prevent air from entering the intake manifold while the engine is idling, causing low idle/stalling. A can of throttle body/carb cleaner will do the job. First, remove the intake tube to get to the butterfly valve. Spray a small amount of throttle body cleaner directly into the intake, and wipe any excess fluid with a cloth. Also, inspect your air filter. I hope this helps Matt
check the iac (idle/air valve) it controls the idle speed during the time the engine is started or coming to a stop. iac valve is located behind the throttle body . hope this will help you with your problem!!!!
if the throttle plate is sticking clean it with throttle body cleaner with an old tooth brush. if still doing the same, it maybe the throttle position sensor is acting up. need more info to help. you at idle. starting up car. when hot or cold motor. best of luck
I have the same truck and have had the same problem, this is what fixed it,, clean the idle speed control valve and throttle body with the CRC throttle valve cleaner and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, that should cure the problem
