I suspecft this is a security programming situation. I have something similar going on with my '95. I have to get an owners manual to find the sequences. I stumbled into this by manually locking the front door and turning on the key with the door open.
re: the dash lights. I find if I have the interior light dimmer all the way to the right it locks out some things but moving it back to the middle puts it back in operational mode. aside from the flashing, non playing stero. At least I can drive it and powerlock the doors IF the doors are closed.

How can i stop a atd killswitch in a from turning on when driverside doorlock doesnt work and only have 1 key to car and no alarm clicker either

Most car alarm and stereo installers may be able to help you. I took apart the driver's door lock on one vehicle, removed the tumblers and reassembled it but eventually someone messed with it and I was stuck

The security system wont disengage and let me start car what do i do?

This depends on if its a factory alarm or not,if its factory then try using the key to unlock the door if it doesnt work on the driverside then unlock the passenger side door this is due to a bad door lock switch on the driver door, if its aftermarket you nned to look under the dash and find the wire for the starter coming down the steering column, you will see a yellow wire i belive the wire will be cut in half and connected to two diffrent wires, cut it and connect it back together and it will start you will then need to look further for fuses on alarm wires and remove the fuses as the alarm module is bad, a good way to tell its a factory alarm is the trucks horn is the siren, if this is the case then its probably factory and door switch is bad in the lock so try pass/side lock.hope this is helpful.

04 Jeep Power Windows

THIS REALLY WORKS****** Saved atleast $600 easy
Ok so when you open your driver door there is a black boot that goes from the body of Jeep to the door (inside the Jam when you open door-its visable) Take this loose...inside there is a wire bundle...there was a black and orange wire in there that were both broken....All we did was strip these and reconnect them w/ connector....Voila..windows all roll up and down..interior lights come on and the locks work and the power mirrors....I AM SO HAPPY THAT THIS WORKED SAVED ME SO MUCH $$$$

The alarm isnt working... car wont start, buttons wont work!

Just a possibility, but a discharged battery could be the culprit. Do the headlights come on brightly? Will the horn blow normally? A 'dead' battery will usually have enough power to illuminate LED warning lights, while not having enough current to operate the starter/door solenoids, etc. Have somebody test the battery voltage to be sure.

Jeep alarm will not turn off

The ignition security on/off is located at the trunk lock. unlock and lock rear gate and the alarm will turn off. My jeep sat in my drive for a month before a jeep tech told me this. It still triggers the security sometimes when I unlock the passenger door with the key and I go straight to the rear gate lock and it shuts off instantly.
