What is a abs modular on a Escalade Cadillac?

Jesse, The module will not stop fluid to rear brakes, a bad master cylinder will, leaking lines, air in brake system, faulty metering block if equipped, collapsed flex lines or pinched brake line faulty caliper or brake cylinders, etc. will cause the possible feeling of no rear brakes.
(ABS Module components) the ABS speed sensors and the ABS control module . When the brake is applied, the ABS control module reads the speed data from the speed sensor and sends the correct pressure to each wheel to prevent any wheel lock up, eg. sliding/skidding Links below have more info.

Need to replace all metal brake lines

There has never been brake line diagrams

Very little of value in factory manuals

You don't need diagrams, as your replacing what
is already there

You will be fabricating brake tubing you bought at
the auto parts store & can adjust the routing for ease
of bending etc & still use the original mounting points.

I'm I missing something you want to do?

Buddy of my has a 1990-96 or so jeep cherokee that has a problem with the brakes ...something about electronic module controlling a hydralic module ...something like the dealership recalled them back in...

Part you're probably looking for is the ABS pump motor or pump motor relay.
Personally though you'd probably be better off checking the line routing for a non abs vehicle and copying it, eliminating the abs system. (scrapyard is a good place to look for "hard" parts and to actually see how lines run, but do use new lines).
The abs system functions just like "normal" brakes when the pump fails, so, it should be ok to drive it that way unless there is something else wrong (leaks etc)

Abs light came on ,now hear like what sounds like apump running. next morning battery was dead .it ran all night.

This is your electronic brake control module(ebcm). This is the module for the anti-lock brake system. The module is located on the inside of the frame just below the drivers seat area. The problem is the electrical part of the module. This is the top part of the module and you don`t have to disconnect any brake lines. It also isn`t in the easiest of places to work in.The 4 screws that hold it down are torx head screws and being in the area that they are in it can be difficult to remove because of rust. The other thing is this module is not cheap. If you don`t want it to drain the battery and don`t want to fix it right away then you can just remove the abs fuse in the under hood fuse panel. But you will not have anti-lock brakes.Just the regular brake system. If you do decide to replace it make sure you clean the area very good before starting because you don`t want dirt to get into the module when you take off the top part.Remember do not undo any brake lines. The fuse is a maxi fuse this means it is one of the big ones.Hope this helps.and let me know if you have any more questions.Good luck.

Where can I find a diagram of the brake lines for a GMC Jimmy? I nwws to replace the left rear brake line and I need to know the routing of the brake lines and where the line is at the ABS module

If it's a metal line, Your local auto parts store should be able to order it for you or worst case you'll have to make your own from straight tubbing and a bender. I don't recall ever seeing diagrams for metal lines, usually there pre made to replace the factory one or you can splice a replacement piece in place of a damaged section. AS far as the line goes to the module, try following it up to it with a good flahlight and a sharppe from the rear forward.

My brake and traction stability service light came on and remained on! what is this and what to do? what could be the problem? should i change my brake pads? will this damage my car

My friend; Try this; Check the fuses / relays boxes in both cabin & engine compartment. Make sure there is no burned fuse or relay. U can check them visually & or using digital multi tester DMM. Check the brake peddle switch. This system {TCS} hooked up with ABS system & ESS & could be due to leaks or malfunction in the brake & or ABS sys. NOTE; TRY TO RESET THE SYS. BY Just ; 1. Dis-connect the battery negative cable, while the ignition switch in the ON position {Don?t Run the engine}. 2. keep it Dis-connect for at least 15 minutes { some experts said 13 hours """ Overnight""" }. 3. Re-connect the battery negative cable, put the ignition switch in the OFF position {Don?t Run the engine}. Then NOW run your engine & see if it disappears. Try it, & PLZ; let me know if I add any benefits to you. I hope I add some thing valuable to you. Regards; MAR; [email protected]

97 acura CL ABS light goes on What are the potential fixes?

The ABS light can be on for different reason.
sometimes a bad speed sensor on one of the wheels can trigger the ABS light.
The ABS module, or the entire braking sytem may be faulty, to find out there is need to test the ECU/ABS modules usinga code reader, and to inspect the braking system.
