Hard to start if outside temp is above 70 degrees

Also check the connector itself at the coil pack/module. This was my problem. I also had to change the crankshaft sensor.

check the fuel pressure when it is hard to start, bet it is low.

Be sure coolant is up to proper level (when cooled) , and if water pump is working properly, I'd check my rad hoses for collapsing when engine rpm increases. Feel hoses for soft spots that may collapse & restrict flow when engine reaches a certain rpm.

you need to have the engine coolant switch
checked, since the computers rely solely on sensors, the ect tells the computer how cold or hot it is so the
computer will make it a rich or lean mixture to start the engine,if it tells the
computer that it is 75 degrees the computer will lean the mixture like starting
a car in the winter without a choke.

I would check for a bad coolant temperature sensor, of a bad ambient air temp. sensor. You can check these with a good voltmeter, but a scanner would make things much easier. With the scanner, you can se what the computer thinks these sensors are telling it. If it's 20 outside and one of the sensors reads something like -10, there's the problem, but a five degree variation is not enough to make a difference.
