SOURCE: Aftermarket double din install having problems with int. dash lights, locks

I had soved my problem... That was stupid.. The cause is that I tried to connect the (illumination +) and the (illumination -) wires togetter on the dimmer wire of my double din unit. That make a short cut and blow the litening fuse (fuse 13 on passenger side fuse panel). I replaced correctly the wiring, keeping the (illumination +) wire unused. That solve my problem but, however I get back my dash illumination, I can't adjust the lightning level... I thing I have a problem with the level switch.. It don't matter to me but if you get the same problem and solve it, please tell me your solution.

Adjust headlights

the bulbs are pre-set in focus and if fitted correctly in the head light assembly they will be focused and adjusted correctly. Try adjusting the whole head light assembly by the 3 screws / adjusting knobs at the back of the assembly to aim the head lights correctly.

How to replace turn signal bulb

Depending on which light, you may need to remove the whole light assembly and pull the lights out from the back side if you cant get at it from the back while its in the truck. If you have to pull the whole assembly out, I'd change them all since you have it out. Good luck and I hope this helps you.

How do you change a brake light bulb in a 1997 Nissan pickup truck? There are no apparent screws or anything to take the rear light assembly off the truck or to get into the assembly to replace the bulbs.

mcdevito75 here, Look directly in the back of the light, if the carpet is in the way move it, you should see plastic wing nuts, remove those wing nuts and the whole assembly should come out to change the bulbs. Reverse the procedure to re install. Also Check outside on the RED lens for amy screws.

Ford Focus 2006 ZX3 How do I replace the rear blinkers bulb

I know this might be a dumb question but, do you have the manual? The Focus owner's manual contains information on how to replace various secondary outside and interior lights.
When you open the hatchback look behind where the light is and you will see a small hole. Unscrew the screw that it is there. You also need to unscrew another screw that is beside the light on the outside (top right). Then you just pull the whole light assembly off the car. Next disconnect the wire from the back of the light bulb assembly. Next, twist the light bulb assemble and pull it out. You now have access to the bulb. Hope that helps.

How do I replace the Rear Brake light bulb of 2001 Toyota Sienna?

I have a 2001 Sienna and have had to replace most of my tail light bulbs.

The bulbs that are mounted in the fender (wrap arounds) have acess panels in the van's interior that easily pop out and expose the back of the light assembly.

However, the bulbs that are found in the lift gate are a different matter. You have to remove the whole interior panel to the lift gate to expose the light assemblies. Go to your auto parts store and get a tool to help pop out the plastic retainers from the lift gates metal frame. Don't force the retainers out. Go slowly and gently so that you don't damage the interior panel. If you are really gentle you might even get to reuse the retainers.

Good luck!

Replace 2005 GMC Sierra Daytime Running Lights...

Open the hood, and in the top right and left corners of the primary headlamps you'll see two pins (L shaped) swing them out (towards the front of the truck) and lift out. This allows you to remove the upper headlamp assembly. You can then remove the lower assembly by pushing outwards on the plastic clip that is hooked into a metal clip. Once it's out you just turn the bulb to remove it.

It's much easier if you unhook the leads to the upper assembly's bulbes so you can set the whole thing aside.

Changing front turn signal 2006 dodge truck

Yes you do. You have to take the whole assembly off the truck to fix the problem. I tried wesbingham3's way and it was a dead-end. I then had to call a Dodge dealer and they told me that you had to take the whole assembly off the truck which turns out easier than it seems. All you have to do is remove the two bolts that are by the radiator and pull the assembly straight off the truck. It helps when pulling it off if you already have the headlight out of the assembly (which can be removed from atop of the assembly). Once you get the assembly off the truck then all you have to do is change the bulb and replace the assembly. Once I figured it out it only took me 5 minutes.

How replace break light bulb in on a4 2005

Replacement of any bulb in the Tail-light assembly is easier then one thinks.

First thing you need to do is gain access to the trunk area. At the top of
the tail-light area inside the trunk is a small circle that needs to be
opened to expose the bolt that you need to remove.

WARNING: Be careful not to loose this bolt or you are going to have to take
apart your trunk interior to retrieve it.

After the bolt is removed the Tail-light assembly will pull out as follows;
Left side: pull out the right side of the assembly
Right side: pull out the left side of the assembly.
The out side of the assembly is held in place by 2 or 3 small nipples.

There will only be one cable that is connected to the assembly. This does not
have to be removed unless you really want to. On both sides of the assembly
there are 2 clips that hold the light plate to the break light lens. After
the clips are loosened the whole light bulb assembly can be removed and the
bulbs replaced.

Restoring the Break-light assembly.

After you have replaced your bulbs and re attached the the bulb assembly, you
will have to first fit the nipples on the outer side of the assembly then
push the inter side into place. Replace the bolt and tighten. You are done.
