What is the drive cycler for a 1999 nissan altima

I don't think anybody understands what you mean by drive recycler ..

Try putting the key in the ignition and turning it on - leave it for a few minutes. Repeat the process a few times. Your onboard computer may 'relearn' .. and not display check lights.

Try turning the ignition on/off a few times. This sometimes does the trick.

If you know somebody with an OBD - the handheld diagnostic machine - ask them if they can connect it to your car and reset all warning lights

I bought a code reader and use it to cancel codes (When check light is on it puts the engine in a safe mode , affecting MPG ) I drive 600+ miles a month and the codes only throw 2 or 3 times , I have become good at canceling them on the fly with no noticeable problems. Just turned 200k and still runing strong

2002 VW Golf GLS check engine light reset?

Codes and the CEL can be erased with the same scanner used to retrieve the codes. It is a separate function of scanners.

1997 Mazda Protege...CEL P0141 still on with both new o2 sensors.

Code 141 is for the heater circuit for bank one sensor two. That is the O2 sensor after the catalytic converter.
If you have replaced the sensor and the code still sets, the problem is in the harness or the power source for that heater circuit.
The sensor is taking too long to heat up.

I have a 97 Isuzu rodeo 3.2 and have had a prob with cel flashing when it flashes the truck misfiresthe cel for about a week now i've got PO101 & PO102 PO300 i need to smog can somebody please help M

  • With the engine cold take and spray some carburetor cleaner around the intake. Can't believe so many places left you hanging like this. Lets see, check the PCV valve and the PCV valve and make sure it is not cracked, split, rotted, clogged. I only recommend and use OEM MAF sensors period. I don't car how fancy the name may be. Did you test the harness on your MAF for proper continuity? Check all vacuum hoses for any leak. Also pull your plugs again and see if any of the new plugs are fouled. I have seen a faulty fuel injector, that won't close, cause this.

  • Keep me updated. Hope this helps.

How to reset computer on 2004 gmc envoy

If you are talking about turning off the check engine light (CEL), a simple reset will not work. The reason for the CEL being on needs to be addressed first. There are fault codes generated by the computer that can be read a OBII reader. These codes identify the area or sensor where the problem exists. One thing you never want to do is drive the car for longer periods of time with a flashing CEL. A flashing CEL indicates there is a problem that could possibly harm the engine or catalytic converter.

Change lightbulb for check engine light

DOES THE SYSTEM GO THROUGH QUICK TEST? I ASK BECAUSE IT IS VERY UNLIKELY THE CEL IS BURNED OUT, NEVER SAW IT EVEN OCE IN 20 YEARS OF DOING SMOGS AND FIXING ITEMS LIKE THE CEL INOP, WAS ALWAYS ANOTHER REASON. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGTH (CEL) IS IN THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, IT MUST BE REMOVED TO GET ACCESS TO THE BULB TO EITHER REPLACE IT OR FIGURE OUT WHY IT DOESN'T WORK.
