I would check for fuel pressure first. Honda products have a history of fuel pump relay problems. The relay provides power to the pump to give the pump a chance to build up fuel pressure. Otherwise the engine has to get up to normal oil pressure before the pump runs.
The 98 Bravada has the factory security system that will cause the fuel pump to not engage (in case someone tries to steal it). I have also had this problem. Try turning the alarm on then off again and see if that solves the issue. That will get you by until you can have someone fix it ;)
