When accelerating or just revving the engine my car will, for lack of a better term, cut at anywhere between 2400 rpm n up. I've replaced the fuel pump plugs and cam sensor. My speedo tends to twitch or flat dramatically bounce horribly as well. what else could cause this? It dont throw a code when checked. Please help, I'm at the end of my rope. When it stalls or cuts its only for a sec but it wont go past the rpms its at. It'll get to say 2600 n then just drop for bout 2 secs then jump back up. if I hold the throttle it'll just keep bouncing from 2600. vroom, lag, vroom, lag, vroom, lag! Im lost. please. again I beg... HELP!!

YOU'RE GONNA HATE THIS BUT IT DOES SOUND LIKE A FUEL ISSUE. HOWEVER HERE'S THE CATCH.....THE FURL FILTER IS IN THE GAS TANK CONNECTED TO THE FUEL PUMP. YOU HAVE TO DROP THE TANK OR TAKE THE BED OFF TO GET TO IT. AND YOU CAN ONLY GET THE NEW FILTER AT THE DEALER. THE LOCAL PARTS STORE DOESN'T CARRY THESE. BUT I'M NOT SURE ABOUT NAPA, THEY MIGHT. YOU MIGHT ALSO WANT TO CHECK FOR A VAC. LEAK AROUND THE THROTTLE BODY. LASTLY WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU DID ANYTHING TO THE TRANS.? MIGHT WANT TO LOOK INTO THAT.

when you drive it for a while does the temperature gauge seem to be pretty high or no?

you bypassed the wires that connect to the sensors? that would have been my first guess the harness that plugs into the sensor. after that i would check the ground connection from the ecm. wouldn't hurt to check the battery posts too. if the battery posts are oxidized you can have all kinds of goofy electrical problems. hope that helps.

I also have an '03 Ram 1500 with the Hemi, and I too noticed that the throttle system definitely sucks. The issue lies with Chrysler opting for speed density instead of mass air flow, which is what the Hemi should have. I landed an a chatroom that had a procedure to try to fix the throttle response. Simple procedure.
1. turn the Ram on, but don't start.
2. wait 7 -10 seconds for onboard diagnostics to cycle and finish.
3. press the accelerater to the floor, using moderate leg speed and then let up.
4. shut Ram off, wait 10 seconds.
5. start up
After using this procedure, my Ram finally accelerated like a Hemi Ram should. The chatroom said that for some reason, this won't work on every Hemi Ram, but since you don't hook up into the computer, it's worth a shot.
Best of luck!
