Hi Kenneth, I'm glad to help! There is a ton of thing that can cause the engine to die. The most common problem we found here a the dealer is the Crank Sensor. NOTE: This amay or may not be your problem but its the best place to start. NOTE: If you decide to try it, be sure to replace both the Crank Sensor and the Cam Sensor because they are both wired on the same circuit and could be one or the other doing it. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Kenneth.

you should only have to remove the plastic filter holder and the hose is right there on top of the motor.the plastic breather/filter cover is the only thing you should have to remove to get to the hose

Crank and cam sensors

Check the wiring first off. Check anything to do with the engine sensors, look over the wires that lead up to the plugs. If you find any that are oily or dirty, pull the plug and clean it out. You might just try generally detailing your engine as well. The second thing to check off the list is vacuum lines, give them a good looking over for cracks.

take to autozone and have them check the engine light code to start it's free

There is a recall for this problem ,consult a dodge dealer service department
