On my 2003 Ford Escape when I put the key in the ignition I get a beeping tone 5sets of 5 tones. It is not the fasten

Put key in on position for ten min to reset system...thieves cant wait that long

NOTE: The generic electronic module/central timer module (GEM/CTM) is connected to the ISO link and is diagnosed through the data link connector (DLC) with a scan tool.
There are five warning chimes and lamps the GEM/CTM controls: headlamps operating without the ignition on (chime only), door ajar (chime and lamp), key-in-ignition (chime only), driver seat belt warning (chime and lamp), and message center.

When the is turned to RUN or START from OFF or ACC, the chime will sound for six seconds or until the safety belt is buckled.

I assume your referring to a front or rear drive axle

You will have to remove the axle & replace them

There may be ways to stake it in place, if it isn't split
around it's diameter

The tone ring you can see on the outer ends of the axles,
it has about 25 teeth on it & is used with the ABS Braking System

do you have any of the warning lights on in the dash??? maybe a door ajar or the rear hatch or hatch window

The secondary air bag warning is an audible fault format that consists of five sets of five tone bursts, with each set of five tone bursts separated by a five second quiet period. One tone burst cycle will consist of one second ON and one second OFF. This series of five activations is repeated every 30 minutes.
This will tone if the air bag indicator is inoperative.
Suggest to have the dealer or someone with a scan tool that will communicate with the restraint system retrieve codes.

When you turn key on check if airbag light on instrument cluster comes on. 5 beeps is the tone to let you know your airbag light in instrument cluster is inop..
