How to preset a tensioner pulley on a 93Ford 5.8

ford tensioners use a tension set particular to ford
you loosen off the big pulley nut then put a hex key in the pulley shaft and wind the shaft up or down a rack at the back
loosen off to replace the belt and wind the opposite way to get belt tension
when tension is achieved , tighten up the big pulley nut
some models may have a socket type end or a square for an opened spanner rather than the hex end

How do you install a drivers side mirror on 2012 chevy malibu

Tools you will need are a narrow flat head screw driver, narrow pry bar, needle nose pliers, a hex-key set, and a socket wrench to match the nuts on the mirror. Start by finding an oval-shaped tab right behind the handle bar on the door. Using the screwdriver, go from underneath and pop out that tab. Use your hex-key to unscrew the screws. Repeat that process with the control tab. With this, I suggest using a shop rag to keep from scratching or damaging the panel. Once you get this tab off, disconnect the signal cables from the door lock and the window controls. Next you need to pop off the covering around the door latch handle.

Now that you have this done, it's time to take off the door panel. Using the pliers, pull off the two circular tabs along the door jam. Now take your pry bar, starting from the bottom next to the door hinges, pop off the door panel. You will hear snaps, that's a good thing. Once you have all the snaps undone, slide the panel up and out. You'll have to be cautious around the locking lever.

Now you have a view of the mirror cover. Slide it up over the tabs that are securing it to the door. Now take your socket wrench, get rid of the other bolts. When you have all the bolts removed, slide the mirror out.

You have successfully removed the old mirror! Now it's time to put in the new mirror. We are going to start by inserting the mirror in the appropriate holes and tightening them down. You can't tighten them too much, just don't strip the nut. That simple. You now have your new mirror installed. To close up, just go in reverse through the steps I just led you through. Good job!
Hope this helps.

Trying to get diagram to change a timing belt for a 99 mercury mystique

Ford TSB 99-25-4 provides the following corrected information:
To achieve proper timing belt tension on this engine, Ford says the camshaft sprocket bolts should be loosened enough to permit the sprockets to turn freely on the camshafts. Once this has been done, rotate the crankshaft clockwise so cylinder No. 1 is at top dead center. Then, install the camshaft alignment tool in the camshaft slots to hold the cams in place.
  1. Back out the tensioner bolt four full turns and position the tensioner so the locating tab is at approximately the 4 o'clock position. Line up the hex key slot in the tensioner-adjusting washer with the pointer that is located behind the pulley.
  2. Working counterclockwise from the crank sprocket, install the timing belt.
  3. Rotate the tensioner locating tab counterclockwise and insert the locating tab into the slot in the rear timing cover.
  4. Position the hex key slot in the tensioner-adjusting washer to the 4 o'clock position.p>
  5. Tighten the attaching bolt enough to seat the tensioner firmly against the rear timing cover, but still allow the tensioner adjusting washer to be rotated using a 6 mm hex key.
  6. Using the hex key, rotate the adjusting washer counterclockwise until the notch in the pointer is centered over the index line on the locating tab. (The pointer will move in a clockwise direction during adjustment).
  7. While holding the adjusting washer in position, torque the attaching bolt to 18 lb-ft (25 N.m).
Note: If the pointer does not remain centered over the index line during final tightening, loosen the bolt and repeat the procedure beginning with step 4.
