you may have just over run the end stop , try sitting in seat and whilst pressing the back button push with your feet against the floor , this might get the seat moving again , if not i think you may be looking at getting a new switch , but get it checked by a mechanic first as there may be some other way to get it moving
Check if there is an obstruction in the tracks. Usually a penny or dime will get caught in the tracks and stop it from moving freely. You can remove the seat from the car and pull the seat release while moving the seat back and forth to wither dislodge the obstruction or to identify it for sure.
use your seat control button to reprogram the seat
however, you need to know if the key you have is the primary key or secondary
first program as driver one and then use the key if seat moves then program as driver two
if however... you mean that the seat is always moving, AT ALL TIMES, and you ALWAYS have to readjust with the seat switch then you probably have a module concern
Sometimes a coin gets trapped in the track, remove the seat and check, and clean and lube the track, some times all it needs is a little lube, or it might be the seat motor that is bad, you have to unbolt the seat to find out.
one of the pegs isnt moving, each runner has a locking peg and one of them isnt moving either its corroded or the operating spring or tie bar is broke or been kicked off by a back seat passenger.also runners could be corroded caused by lack of use or a flood before you bought the car.
