Is it worth spending 800 pounds on welding chassies on a 2002 toyota hiace long wheel base with 160k miles on it

Check with local authorities what welding is permitted on the strength members of the body. Welding introduces a heat-affected zone which has different properties to the rest. You might be required to add extra bits.

Mid sixties Ford 4000. Suddenly decided to make severe grinding noise when trying to engage gears and cannot engage gears. Weirdly this does not always happen. Gears engage OK when engine not running

Hello, you may have more success in the proper category of lawn or farm stuff. Fortunately I have same Tractor. Sounds like clutch fork is not moving clutch the same way each time you press clutch. Could be clutch needs play removed. Sometimes there is a pivot ball for the clutch fork to rest on. When the pivot ball is worn the clutch fork can rock. Also remember RPM to give gears time to stop spinning before changing gears.

Where is the gear box oil filler on 40 year old ? fiat tractor I have owned 30 years my husband died now trying to do maintenance

Hi Hazel:
Without the model number it's pretty hard for us to try to figure it out.
There are probably at least 3 sources where you can get qualified help on really short notice.
1) The nearest Fiat farm equipment dealer.
2) A local antique farm equipment association.
3) An old "Farm Boy" like myself who lives not too far away.

You have my best wishes.
I sincerely hope that all works out well for you.

Is it true star kist tuna and other products are farmed here and processed in korea and china?

Farmed here - where do you mean exactly??
certainly not farmed in the US since the ocean doesn't really come into the US for tuna fishing - it's ALL out in international waters.

And, who cares if it's processed in Korea or China or Mexico or New York. Hell, your car's parts are made in Korea and China.

How to remove auger heston 500

I would go to a farm equipment dealer and repair shop, and ask the mechanics there. Or google it, you may find something under Hesston, or farm equipment repair. With only about 1% of the population now involved in farming, I don't think a general site like ours has very many farm equipment knowledgeable guys. I would not be surprised, however, that you may find a site devoted to farm equipment repair.

Hi there, when braking there seems to be s slight clunk from under car. doesn't happen all the time. passengers hear the slight clunk at front as well as the back. i cant determine exactly where...

Take it in to a place like Fleet farm or Farm and Fleet and they will do a brake diagnostic for you for free. ( well , our local stores do it for free...)
You could be getting a little brake pad hang up due to a lack of lubricant on some major brake componants. Thats what it sounds like to me...

I'd also suggest you check the trunk and make sure there no loose items rolling around...
The forgotten bottle of wine from that random evening out can make some wierd noises when you've forgotten its there.

Can you buy just the black base that goes around a rear right door window switch

Lear Industries in Hammond, Indiana manufactures this switch as a unit supplied to GM so no you need to purchase a new switch if that plate is needed
I am retired from GM and GM only manufactures sheet metal and engines the past 30 years. The rest is farmed out to outside suppliers to save money which have been mostly non union workers
