p0708- Digital TR sensor circuit TR3A open (TR means transmission range switch)

p1702 is Digital TR circuit reading in between gear position during KOEO/KOER

we have car. spec. now.

p21xx is hard throttle errors.
p2121 is bad TWB, throttle by wire, and limp home mode it lands.

so resetting all DTC error via scan tool REST , all come back driving?
even driving around the block, slow ,in limphome mode dupe to TWG failing

no not caused by failsafe = limp mode, limp mode for TWB is to keep car from running over the kids,etc.
with throttle controls OUT OF CONTROL.

keep in mine TBW can fail parked in the drive way in park (PRNDL:) with driver pumping the throttle pedal.

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) do go bad. Replacing it should not be difficult or expensive.

Sometimes these codes are correct about the problem and sometimes they aren't, I ould suggest getting a service manual for a 2004 Camry and following the directions in it to find out for sure. Service manuals are helpful and have helped me fix problems before.

I do not have Cummins codes so I would consider replacing the injectors or taking it to a Cummins service centre to have it fixed as the parts will not be cheap if not diagnosed correctly

The P2121 means Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch "D" Circuit Range/Performance.

P2135 and P2138 relate to the rationality of the redundant throttle position sensors or the accelerator pedal position sensors. If the relative voltages of the sensors do not match throughout the range of movement, a code will set. This will generally keep throttle control below 1800 rpm. You want to keep the dealer out of this issue, however unfortunately, the dealer has more advanced diagnostics that can pinpoint which sensor is causing the code set. Some, more progressive, repair shops also have better diagnostics than say the standard OBD II, which will not throughly diagnose. You will need to determine which of these sensors is casuhing the code set in order to effect repair. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!
