The light came on a few minutes after I started my truck, so I did a check and found that the air pump does not turn on when I start the truck. Can it be something else then the pump or the solenoid relay that sends the unit power?

Are you scanned the computer to know the fault code? What is the fault code number that you find there?
Several causes could be there; check vacuum leaks and charge battery systems. Keep us updated.

Crank shaft sensor
Remove the driver side rear ignition coil bolts. Reposition the coil. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector. # Use penetrating oil and allow the oil to soak around the CKP sensor prior to removing the sensor. You're looking at left, rear side of engine.
