SOURCE: Spark plug gap on a 1992 Gmc Sonoma 4.3L V6 FI

Usually somewhere on the engine or in the engine compartment, there is a sticker with the engine specifications. The spark plug gap should be included. If not .032 or an inch should be close.
Good luck

97 GMC sonoma pick up truck with 4 cylinder will not start

You would check for spark at the plugs and the fuel pressure at the injectors. There should be a port on the fuel rail where you connect a fuel pressure gauge.
You can also try spraying carb cleaner into the intake to substitute the injector fuel supply.

Need a tune up on a 1996 GMC snoma,5 speed,2.2 ltr.

Get sparkplugs and plug wires. A/C delco plugs if possible. Gap plugs to .060 witha spark plug gapper. Use a 3/8 rachet and extention with a 5/8 spark plug socket will make the job easier, and last but not least stay calm and work through everything. good luck
