2010 ford edge starts intermittently. Replaced battery - doesn't try to crank - just nothing.

Problem with 1998 Honda Accord 2010 ford edge starts intermittently. Replaced no crank is
1: a weak battery (try different good one, or jumper cable it)
2: bad cables or conn. from battery to starter.
3: bad starter.
4: bad key line (alarm cut, PRNDL switch open, bad ignition switch.
Five minutes with any voltmeter finds this easy.
or or hot wire the starter solenoid, to cut the problem in 1/2
this proves problem is in starter or battery
or in Key line, in 5 min flat, (a 100 year old test )

there are very simple tests for each of the 4. ask.

Battery not charging

Bad battery, bad alternator, bad ignition switch, bad/loose battery cables??? The problem needs to be properly diagnosed to prevent replacing a bunch of parts that your vehicle does not need.

Ive had battery problems with my 2001 hyundai accent.i changed the battery terminals and solved the problem however,,i went to start it,,it turned over then went completely dead,,i have no power anywhere

Check the other ends of the battery cables for cleanliness and tightness. If they are solid, it's possible that although you replaced the battery terminals, the battery has a bad cell and needs replacement. If the car starts when it's cold and won't start when it's warm, the problem could be a bad starter. A bad starter will function properly when cold but once warm, requires much more power to turn over.

Battery light comes on while driving lights go on and off replaced altenater still having problem

Check battery to see if it has a bad cell, low voltage problem is what you have. Sounds like the battery. Check voltage without car engine running and running, should get about the same voltage, around 13.6 is normal, anything else, means trouble , could be a bad/dirty connection or just a bad battery.

My battery died and now my driver side window will go down but most of the time wont go up unless i repeatedly open and close my door, how could my battery dying cause this?

You first should fix the battery problem. You might have a bad battery, charging system problem, or bad connection. If you fix this problem, or if the car will start now, and you still have problems with the window, you might have a bad motor, or possibly broken wire in the door area. It's hard to tell without doing some testing. Fix the battery problem or charge it up. It's also possible you could have two problems at the same time. Good luck.

I have intermittent starting problems with my 1998 GMC Sierra. It will rev up as per usual but then the revs die off and you have to leave it for half an hour as no matter how many times you try it, it...

If you are sure the battery is good (6 months old doesnt matter, it may in fact be bad, ESPECIALLY if its a delco or duralast or some other low quality line) and the car slow cranks and then must sit before attempting again, you almost certainly have high resistance somewhere. Usually on GMs its bad sidepost bolts, or bad battery cables (under the insulation white corrosion and crude rot and infect the copper causing resistance) clean and tighten all cables. Starter may also have internal resistance that is the beginning of a total failure. CHECK BATTERY 1ST THOUGH! 90% of slow cranking problems are bad batteries, or starters thatwere damaged by being cranked too long and often with a bad battery (Yes, thats very bad for the starter!)
