Lauguna mk2 ABS fault

It takes a scanner to reset the light. But it won't reset until the problem is repaired. And code readers won't read the codes for the ABS system. Takes a scanner.

get the obd codes read will tell you what sensor/switch is at fault

with diesels there is an injector control module that sometimes causes problems
possible bad harness connections , ground wires so for starters I would be looking in that area after I ran a fault code check
anything that pits on an engine light and restricts rpm should leave a code

Whenever this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM, SRS, TPMS, MIL, CEL and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for the problem(s)

Sounds like you are low on oil.

check starter motor for fault/check battery has full charge/starter relay/starter fuse/peddel switch

Remove the battery wires and leave for about 4 hours then reconnect.Should do the trick good luck,

sounds like a loose fanbelt ... check tension on all belts they should only move 1/2 inch with medium pressure on them

Try the relays under the bonnet fuse box 4 small black ones in a line, the first 2 from top cut of the fuel pump, and are a renowned cause of 85% of cranking without starting faults on the dci engine swap them over for the bottom 2 .
If it starts, buy 2 from Renault and fit
if the engine still fails to start the egr valve may be stuck closed starving the engine of air, its on the top of the engine at the air intake and has 3 bolts, remove it and clean it with carb cleaner then check its condition, if it appears ok, replace the cleaned one, if not you need a new one or the turbo will blow its seals and the engine will rev and burn on the engines own oil.
beyond this and your diy fixes are at an end without a obd2 code reader.
