My passenger side window and lock works from its side. How do i test for power on drivers side
Well, the first thing is to check the fuses and or relay for power windows.should be listed in your owners manual. if ok, then remove switch from drivers side window and check for power. if power to the switch then use a jumper wire from power side to motor side of switch. if window works then its the switch causing the problem. Good-day!

I had the same problem to the T. I look online for all the same solutions and I can only tell you what worked for me. Actually what I think worked, HAHA! I went out to my truck and unplugged both battery terminals from battery and placed them together to supposedly reset the electrical system, "so I was told." After this for about 20 min or so, I went back out and in this order; re-installed positive terminal followed by negative terminal to battery. After this I checked locks and windows and surprise they worked. I've seen a lot of people say that all they did was wait and they worked later, so maybe it was that and not what I did, but who cares, they work now. Give it a shot and if it works for you, GREAT let me know, I HATE CHEVY CAUSE OF THIS......they wanted me to pay for a stupid diagnostic before they would help me........well screw you I fixed myself. If it does not make any noise, or sound like its getting any power, most likely its the switch.

Your chevy uses two fuses for the system. The power lock actuators are on the 15 amp fuse inside the truck. The fuse for the switches (locks and mirrors) are under the hood. For 99 to 04 (I think those are the years) there is a TSB on replacing the 3 amp fuse under the hood with a 5 amp fuse because this is a well known problem of having these blow.
Your drivers side window is a different issue. If the rest are working your problem is in the motor or getting power to the motor. The wires that go from the body to the door often crack and break with the opening and closing of the door.

You can do it yourself.
Couple of times when you replace the remote battery, you might have them not working/ responding but just follow the procedure below.
Stand close to the car, hold down the open and close knobs for about 10 seconds. Press them at the same time for 3 seconds; then press the open button as the car opens.
The above procedure is applicable to a lot of car brands. It does not matter how many knobs you might have on the remote fob.
I have carried this procedure out on a lot of brands ranging from Honda, Toyota, Rover, Ford, etc. and it works perfectly well.
Good luck and Rate this.
Cheers

This blazer is a 2-door. Doesn't have switch for safety lockout.
