I was trying to connect my amplifier and so I disconnected the battery. When I reconnected the battery, I started the truck and my Gage's were freaking out And on top of that my battery wouldn't hold a charge. So I replaced the altinator and it still dies out. Also my stereo don't work anymore. So then I took it to auto zone and they couldn't even read anything after it was plugged in under my dash. Some say its my ecm and some say PCM what one is it. Or what else could it be?

It is more likely the solenoid, the PCM is very seldom the problem, about 3% of the time to be exact.

When you disconnected the battery, you tripped the alarm which locked down everything. In your owners manual, look under the security or alarm system. It will tell you how to disarm your particular alarm system. If I am not mistaken on these you put the key in the drivers door and lock and unlock it 2-3 times. If you do not have the owners manual, you can contact dodge and they will walk you through it.
SOURCE: No Bus Error
All the modules are connected together to communicate with each other via the PCI bus. It is possible that one of the modules is pulling the bus down.Since the vehicle won't start it could be any one of the modules. It will be a process of elimination to find the faulty one by disconnecting them one at a time. Here are a few, powertrain control module (the one you replaced) Instrument cluster, overhead console, anti-lock brakes, airbag. Since the cluster unplugged wont read anymore, just try to start the vehicle to see if that was the one. Otherwise see if the odometer message of "no bus" goes away after each one is unplugged.

It's almost never a pcm. You need to check things like the fuel pressure when this happens. I'd take it to a better shop as alot of tests require special equipment.

Reset switch locater on pos cable link in black box located on firewall drivers side. most people remove these sometimes. sometimes they can be located in fuse box. if you have alarm remote try reseting it by removeing batter in remote then reinstall or replace
