SOURCE: fuses for 2004 silverado
It works off the same circuit as the running lights. Odds are its a bad bulb. Lee
SOURCE: my 1988 chevy silverado blows the heater/ac fuse when engaging 4w
There is an electric actuator on the front axle that engages 4WD. This part commonly fails resulting in no 4WD. Unhook the electrical connector to this part and see if heater still blows fuses. If It does not blow the fuse, the problem is in the actuator. If it still blows the fuse then it could be in the wiring. Buy a repair manual and trace the wiring schematics.
SOURCE: Where are the fuses for Onstar, satellite radio
Comments from the dealership, the fuse location
for the Onstar system is located as follows: Drivers-side
instrument panel fuse block, exposed on the left edge of the panel when
the drivers door is open. Pull the fuse labeled: #22, a 10A fuse. The
label in the owners manual calls it the "Driver Information Center
(DIC)". This will disable the ONSTAR system.
Leave to GM
to move the fuse locations around, this used to be under the hood and
it was called the INFO fuse and it was a 15a fuse.
And yes....It does **** that
they moved it from the '07s,on mine its a 15amp fuse under the hood
marked 'INFOTNMT" like you said.
SOURCE: need to know where fuses are for the following
Hi Friend: Your Fuses are Located Drivers Side under your Dash,It has a fuse cover to match your interior Color, It Blends in Well. But get a Light and you'll find it. You also have a Box under Hood with Circiut Breakers and Fuses ,Nut if you Have Open Slots in your Fuse Block Under Dash I recommend you Use one of The.Also For Extra Safety put in a in-Line Fuse as well. Between Fuse Block and Your Satellite. Hope This has helped you. Please let me Know. Thank from d_hubbs
