SOURCE: 2005 malibu where is the brake light switch?

There isn't one.  This car has a "brake and throttle by wire" system and the brake light switch is inside of that.  You have a bad brake position sensor.  Figure $240 or so at a dealer.

SOURCE: brake lights stay on

u will need to replace the brake light switch, it is located at the top of the arm the brake pedal is attached to, simple hand tools to replace, very easy job, part very cheap.

SOURCE: brake lights not working on my chevy malibu

Check fuse/relay and then check the brake switch under the dash close to the brake pedal. It tells the brake lights to come on when you apply the brakes.

SOURCE: 2006 chevy malibu.... where is the egr valve

If it's a US car then there is not an egr on the 2.2L engine. I think some of the mexican and oversea's engines had them, but not here in the US.

2006 malibu wont come out of park no brake lights

Go under the dash and check the brake light switch, it should have 12 volts present at the 2 terminal connector at all times and 12 volts at both sides of the connector when the pedal is pressed, replace the connector the switch based on the test results, if no power at all check the fuse for the brake light circuit. The brake lights are what allows part to release, no lights locked in park

My 2006 malibu sometimes gets stuck in park. the dealer said the shifter was bent and replaced it but the problem is still there

Does the brake lights come on when you step on the brake padle? if yes then its the shifter itself and if no then its the brake light switch.

2006 malibu taillights not working ,brake and turn signals are fine after i replace the bulbs but the taillights for night time do not work, Could this be a fuse and where would it be? Also the dimmer...

could be fuses, could also be bad wiring..but since your car ain't that old I would say fuses have shorted out.
set of fuses ain't expensive.
location of the fusebox in my '91 Chevy is on the leftside below the steeringwheel.
