First thing you do is check the fuse.Take the cover off the fuse panel and turn the cover over.Fuse diagram is on the back.Since you knaow there's no power to the pump, that's firs thing you do.Nothing else will cuse this problem for Toyota doesn't have a relay for the fuel pump.

1996 Lexus 400 where fuel reset

To answer your question specifically it would be no. There
is no inertia switch that feeds the fuel pump that can be turned off or reset . The engine control computer turns on a series of two different relays to control power to the fuel pump. When in the start position the circuit opening relay and the fuel pump relay or both energize causing the fuel pump to run at full pressure or fast speed. From there the engine control computer determines which demand is on the fuel pump and either turns off the fuel pump relay and leaves
the circuit opening relay on to supply power through a resistor to slow the pump down for less demand. The EFI main relay is the main supply relay to both of these sub relays. The fuel pump is powered up ultimately by the 20 amp EFI number one fuse. All of these components are located in the fuse box under the hood. If the circuit opening relay is not working it's powered up by the 10 amp
ignition fuse inside the vehicle. It's unlikely it is the 10 amp ignition fuse because that powers up a lot of other things also.

1988 ford f 150 suddenly no power to fuel pumps

Hi Don,
your fuel pump is supplied voltage from the fuel pump relay which is supplied voltage from the EEC power relay ( fuel pump relay-Green Base, EEC power relay has a Brown Base) usually located on the left side(drivers side) of the engine compartment. These relays are supplied voltage from the fuse links at the starter solenoid on the firewall near the Battery, I hope this Helps Don!

Fuel pump

the fuel pump is supplied power via the fuel pump relay. The relay gets power for the fuel pump through the ECM B fuse. This fuse also supplies power to the vehicle control module.

How does the feul pump relay works?

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
The fuel pump relay regulates the power given to the fuel pump. If the fuel pump relay is faulty there will be no power to the fuel pump and will result to fuel supply failure. These relays just like the others serves as regulators so that the battery will not fail during electrical loads.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Fuel pump not working. Just replaced fuel pump relay, all fuses are ok. Both fuel pumps are relatively new.

Check power at the fuel pump , when you put key on ,it should be there for about two seconds (if you are not starting the car) to build up the pressure.
When you cranking engine , power should be constant.
If power not there , go to the relay , check power supply to the relay. If power supply to the relay ok , check signal from ignition switch , if that ok relay is faulty.
