CYLINDERS 3 AND 6 WONT FIRE
SOURCE: 01 3.9l ram 1500 wont start p0300, p0301, p0303,
P 0300 = Multiple Cylinders Misfire Detected.
P 0301 = Misfire at Cylinder #1
P 0303 = Misfire at Cylinder #3
P 0306 = Misfire at Cylinder #6
P 0340 = NO Camshaft Signal at PCM = Bad Camshaft Position Sensor.
P 0455 = A leak detection monitor is unable to pressurize EVAP system, indiicating a large leak.
My experience points FIRST to that Camshaft Position Sensor. Replace this first and check operation. It should be located on the front, near the top of the engine in the area of the Timing Chain cover. It usually has a retaing bolt holding it into place. Unplug the electrical connection. Remove this bolt and you will need to pull (relatively hard) up and out. They are in the cover using o-rings and is it pretty snug. I believe when this is replaced first the other cylinder codes will disappear.
The Camshaft Position Sensor sends an electrical pulse which in conjuction with the Crankshaft Position Sensor coordinates the Electronic Coil to Fire to the appropraite Cylinders. If there is not a "signal" sent, or the wrong signal sent, there is a misfire.

Have you had somebody clear the codes after you installed the parts. If not the codes have to be erased by using a scan tool.
